Individual Orca Adoption - $35

With your one-year symbolic Orca Adoption you will receive:

  • Personalized Adoption Certificate bearing your (or recipient's) name and the name and photo of your chosen whale.
  • The whale's personal biography along with a seasonal update of your whale's pod.
  • Exclusive - ORCA STEWARD PATCH - Start collecting them, a different patch each year! Proudly display on your cap, backpack, or jacket!
  • Southern Resident Orcas - full color 16 page booklet full of facts about the Southern Resident orcas. Produced by The Whale Museum exclusively for orca adopters.
  • Annually updated matrilineal genealogy charts of the Southern Resident Community.
  • Annual subscription to The Whale Museum's newsletter Cetus (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter issues).

For the whole class! Each student (up to 30 individuals) receives his/her own personalized Adoption Certificate with the choice of the whale the class has selected. (Add $3 for each additional certificate beyond 30).

Your membership entitles you to free admission to the Exhibit Hall and a 10% discount on in-store and on-line purchases.
Each year we'll send you a reminder to renew your membership. With your renewal you'll receive updated information about your selected whale, with a most recent photo, along with a premium gift.

Eco-Friendly Virtual Orca Adoption - $35

With your one-year symbolic Eco-Friendly Virtual Orca Adoption you will receive via EMAIL:

  • Personalized virtual full-screen certificate, displaying a photo of the selected whale, bearing your (or recipient's) name, membership number, and adoption period, for your computer desktop or screen saver display.
  • Current Genealogy Chart of your whale’s pod, showing the living and deceased whales since the studies began in 1976.
  • A profile of your whale.
  • Monthly Orca Update - keeping you up-to-date about the whales, stories and encounters that will sometimes make you feel like you are right there.
  • How to Help - a list of simple things you can do to help protect the orcas’ world as well as your own.
  • Cetus Newsletter - Annual subscription to The Whale Museum's newsletter Cetus (Spring and Fall issues).
